Overview of Evaluation Systems for the Usage of WMD

CBRN-Analysis

CBRN-Analysis is an advanced, off-the-shelf CBRN Defence Knowledge Management Software Application that provides Knowledge Management, Hazard Prediction, and Warning and Reporting (W&R) capability, supporting the planning and execution of operations.

Providing commanders with rapid and accurate knowledge to increase their CBRN situational awareness within an area where a risk of CBRN hazards may exist.

CBRN-Analysis effectively supports and enhances risk-management in all phases of an operation, through the planning and pre-deployment phase, in-theatre execution, and in the post-conflict or recovery phase. CBRN-Analysis complies with the latest NATO standards. These include the NATO publications of STANAG 2103 ATP-45(F)(2) and STANAG 2497 AEP-45(E)(1). CBRN-Analysis is the global market leader in the digital application of CBRN knowledge management software that meets the latest warning and reporting standards. The software also supports intelligence preparation of the operational environment (IPOE) which allows users to place known potential hazards within their operational areas, enabling critical infrastructure protection.

CBRNE-Frontline

CBRNE-Frontline is a CBRNE Incident and Knowledge Management application for use in a wide range of situations requiring accurate incident and hazard prediction information to be made available to initial responders as rapidly as possible.

CBRNE-Frontline is intuitive and easy to understand, removing some of the complexities associated with CBRNE hazard prediction and knowledge management. This ease of use makes it an ideal tool for non-CBRNE specialists.

SafeVita

SafeVita saves lives and protects against airborne hazards whether accidental, intentional, or natural – and whether they include explosives or chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear material.

Our complete solution enables you to help as many people as possible escape the danger and gives emergency responders the information they need to respond efficiently. Bruhn NewTech specialises in software solutions that help you save lives by providing a complete knowledge management solution for preparing for and responding to events involving explosives and hazardous materials. Our solutions reduce response time and enable life-saving decisions to be made rapidly.

SCIM®

SCIM® is short for “Sensor Connectivity Information Management” and is a software hub, providing sensor connectivity to multiple sensor types and brands presented on a single, effective display. In essence, it is the ‘glue’ that binds all data together from multiple devices into a single, easy-to-display window. This creates a less complicated human-machine interface (HMI) for the operator to control.

The system allows collection of sensor data and formatting of that data into standard CBRN messaging for further dissemination via built-in communication applications. The software enables the capture of sensor data that can then be transmitted for further investigation. SCIM® is futureproofed as it allows any sensor or instrument to be replaced or added as technology advances.

CBRN-Sim

CBRN-Sim adds real-time simulation of CBRN Ground contamination and Airborne hazards to SCIM®, CBRNE-Frontline and CBRN-Analysis for Operator Sensor Integration Training. CBRN-Sim is a planning tool that allows an instructor to plan a scenario with chemical hazards, including ground contamination and vapour, radiological hazards, and nuclear fallout.

CBRN-Sim is available for simulation of sensor data output. This provides a cost-effective and risk-free alternative to fulfilling the requirements of operator training. The application can simulate alarm and fault readings from any sensor to allow realistic operational training. CBRN-Sim provides the ability to add materials that generate false-positive results for relevant sensor types. Training and using sensors or instruments can increase the cost of consumables such as batteries and filters. Simulation can keep these costs to a minimum while giving operators valuable training in the necessary procedures. CBRN-Sim is a software product that delivers the full realism of sensor data, including errors and malfunctions, and gives instructors essential feedback on practical performance.
