AURA’s speech in the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic

A seminar called “Involvement of the Czech defence and security industry in strategic projects important for the defence of the Czech Republic” in the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic (Chamber of Deputies) was held the 22nd of June 2016.

The event was organized by the Committee of Defence of the Chamber of Deputies in cooperation with the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic (DSIA CR) under the auspices of Deputy David Kádner, Chairman of the Defence Committee, and Deputy Václav Klučka.

The seminar hosted, among others, the Deputy Minister of Defence Mr. Daniel Koštoval and the DSIA CR president Mr. Jiří Hynek. Both spoke very openly about current challenges and prospects of cooperation of the Czech defence industry with the Ministry of Defence.

The appearance of the AURA’s General Director Filip Engelsmann on cooperation with the Ministry of Defence in the strategic project of the Information System for Logistics (ISL) was met with considerable response. Mr. Filip Engelsmann stressed that behind the success of the project ISL there is close cooperation between AURA and MoD experts.

The representatives of Česká zbrojovka a.s., ERA a.s., and AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE a.s. also appeared at the seminar.
